Thinking of my late mother Margaret, who, in the late 1960s and early 1970s became heavily involved in politics. She was instrumental in the start of the pro-life movement both in New York State and nationwide, first serving as co-founder and co-chair of the NY Rockland County Right to Life Movement, and then running for state office on the Right-to-Life ticket. On two separate occasions she was arrested and jailed as a result of civil disobedience involving peaceful protests against the killing of unborn children. (During her brief time in jail she befriended several women inmates and became an activist for improved prison conditions at the women's prison in Valhalla, NY.) My mother is part of an unheralded generation of pro-life women leaders and activists who devoted their lives to saving unborn lives and mothers in need. The Left will try to bury this history, but we must celebrate it.

Unfortunately that sounds about right, jail the right to life folks and let those that are in favor of abortion that riot and destroy run rampant throughout the land for two generations.
